The remake is set to launch on April 27, 2023, and a demo is available now. Now, ( following a period of exclusivity) it will be made available on the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam. This HD-2D version of the game, a blending of pixel art nostalgia with modern graphics, was first released on the Nintendo Switch back in July of last year. Square Enix announced today that the award-winning remake of 1994 SNES RPG LIVE A LIVE, will be launching on both PC and PlayStation at the end of next month. The soundtrack from original composer Yoko Shimomura has been remastered, with the game’s original director Takashi Tokita returning to produce the remake which is promised to retain “everything that players loved about the original game while also being accessible to newcomers.This remake of the 1994 SNES RPG first landed on the Nintendo Switch last year, now its coming to PC and PlayStation.
